The Zeiss-Planetarium Jena is the world’s longest serving planetarium. It first opened it’s gates on the 18th of July in 1926 to the public. It’s run by the company ‘Sternevent GmbH’ and the foundation ‘Ernst-Abbe-Stiftung’. It has a long tradition of producing planetarium shows. It also hosts the annual ‘Fulldome Festival Jena’.
