Description
MMX, Martian Moons eXploration, is a challenging mission that builds on the technology developed for Japan’s asteroid probes Hayabusa and Hayabusa2. Its ambitious goal is to land on Mars’ moon Phobos and return samples to Earth.
Directed by Hiromitsu Kohsaka—renowned for the Hayabusa fulldome show series—this production not only introduces the MMX mission but also explores the broader significance of space exploration. It highlights the results of sample analysis and reflects on the evolving relationship between humanity and space.
In addition to the MMX probe, the show features past Japanese missions and introduces the next-generation flagship rocket, H3, which will support future endeavors.
