A new mobile dome was delivered for Shanghai Astronomy Museum

In order to facilitate the dissemination of astronomical science education, the Shanghai Planetarium has built a 7-meter mobile Dome. It has a very beautiful blue appearance, and the patterns printed on it include both the seven stars of the Eastern Canglong in China and the star map of the West.

A single 4K projector and the supporting films and astronomical software have excellent clarity, color and brightness, and the effect of watching films is already very close to that of ordinary cinemas.

It has excellent portability and flexibility. Can be assembled in half an hour. Transportation is also very convenient. We also hope to introduce more excellent imported films so that Chinese audiences can see and learn the latest astronomical knowledge, gain rich visual experiences and stimulate their imagination and creativity.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the International Planetarium, and this dome is the best gift ever given to the planetarium industry. In the future, we hope to use it in more school astronomy activities.
