Dome Under Film Festival - Award Winners
The Dome Under Film Festival has finished for another year. The festival was a great success with multiple sessions sold out. The festival featured 26 films from 13 countries, which were screened across seven sessions:
- Session One: Kid's Films
- Session Two: Astronomy
- Session Three: Music to melt your brain
- Session Four: Mind Blowing Art
- Session Five: World Stories
- Session Six: Future Visions
- Session Seven: Art of Science
The Dome Under Film Festival jury awarded five films in the following categories:
- Best Short Film - undetermined outcome dir. Rocco Helmchen & Johannes Kraas
- Best Children's Film - Once Upon... My Story! dir. Francis Gélinas
- Best Art Film - Xyzzy dir. Jess Johnson & Simon Ward
- Best Astronomy Film - Spark: the Universe in Us dir. Ryan Wyatt
- Best Narrative Film - Eros dir. Daniel Hambly
The Dome Under Festival Jury also Highly Commended the following three films:
- The Earth Above: A Deep Time View of Australia's Epic History dir. The Ruwe Collective
- Chemistry of Life: The Invisible Inside dir. Anna Öst
- EXO-CORTEX 3.0 dir. Jérémy Oury
