Reflections of the Universe is the first Russian festival of popular science fulldome programs for planetariums, which has been held in Russia since 2013.

Description

Now at its 5th edition, “Reflections of the Universe” is the first Russian international festival of the fulldome scientific popular programs for planetariums.

The event will be held by the Cultural and Educational Center named after Valentina V. Tereshkova and it is dedicated to the anniversary of the space flight made by the first female cosmonaut – Valentina V. Tereshkova.

The event reaches both professionals and novice planetarians. All attendants and participants will be able to walk through the history of the Cultural and Educational Center starting from the first draft to its construction and equipment installation, from the first word written in a script to an entertaining fulldome show. We will discuss the significance of planetariums in modern Russia and the challenges that can be resolved with such innovative equipment.
