The International Planetarium Society, Inc. (IPS), the Macao Science Center Ltd. and Beijing Planetarium will jointly organize the IPS-Macao International Fulldome Festival 2014 with the competition screening part held in Macao Science Center, and award winning plus public screening of the festival shows in both Macao and Beijing. The Festival is expecting an international line-up of about 30 newest high resolution digital fulldome shows in 2D or 3D format to be shown and competing for 12 prestigious awards. This will be the first fulldome festival held in the Macao’s world highest resolution 8k 3D fulldome theatre. The Festival adjudication process is a pre-conference event of the IPS 2014 Conference in Beijing.
