“Disconnection” is a dome audiovisual piece that arises as a reflection on the evident and undeniable disconnection from humanity. It revolves around the moment of social deterioration in which we currently find ourselves.

We are inherently trapped in a logic of consumption, always in pursuit of our own well-being. Society is currently dominated by individualism over collectivism, and it is within this context that the piece is grounded; to generate reflection and invite the audience to rebuild those connections with humanity, with the essential, with life.

The visual treatment of the piece combines generative art, code writing, and 3D animation, with resources based on the abstraction of images, icons, and symbols of nature in the generation of procedural images.
