Description

Sound and Visuals for Panic Attacks explores the phenomenon of generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder and the influence of both of these medical conditions of the output of the artist. This work was created as a private project by Ty Owen of the COSI Planetarium in Columbus, Ohio.

Ty has been performing music for over 15 years, and also started experiencing these medical conditions around the same time. As told by Ty “During these episodes even the smallest visual or sonic events become amplified and distorted in my mind. This piece is an attempt to recreate the experiences of these events, allowing the audience to explore the experience my experience, which is something that only an immersive space like the dome can facilitate.”

This piece is available as pre recorded content and also as a live fulldome performance. For planetariums and digital dome theatres.
