Description
1933: When a swastika flag is hoisted in his village, Baltic writer Siegfried von Vegesack retreats into the forest. There, surrounded by ancient trees and silence, he confronts his fears, memories, and moral doubts.
As the outside world slips into darkness, nature offers him a space to reflect – and to remember what it means to be human. In the stillness, a quiet question takes shape – one that will lead him back toward the world he thought he had left behind.
