On April 22 occurred the "400th anniversary of the death Don Miguel de Cervantes" and, once again, the most international Spanish novel has been adapted to a new platform, this time for digital planetariums:

The adaptation has been made by the Sevillian artist Alejandro Durán. This is the first adaptation of the Cervantes' work "Don Quixote" on this type of platform. It's a fulldome show targeted to childrena and designed to be projected in digital planetariums. The film is the summary of the most popular scenes of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. This audiovisual work goes beyond its own content, also a commitment to early childhood education based on artistic experience and interaction with students. As the author says, "it's the way to act and learn from children, interact and play with a creative language, and a digital planetarium is a perfect platform." The work of "The Ingenious Hidalgo Don Quixote de la Mancha" is the first genuinely demystifying work of the chivalrous tradition burlesque treatment. It represents the first modern novel and exerted an enormous influence on all the European narrative, and it is also considered as the most important work of all Spanish literature. This fulldome film is designed to complement the activities of the planetariums around the "400th anniversary of the death of Cervantes." Also, in the film, there's a nod to the recently named "Cervantes System", the Cervantes star with their respective planets: Dulcinea, Rocinante, Don Quixote and Sancho.
