Maxwell Render Adds Fulldome Support

Next Limit Technologies has released the latest version of their Maxwell rendering software. The new release adds support for rendering immersive panoramic imagery in domemaster angular fisheye, and latitude/longitude (equirectangular) formats. Maxwell is an advanced rendering package that is known as a light simulator because it can reproduce the properties of a real camera using a Metropolis based bidirectional path-tracing system. In simple terms this means you can render complex scenes with features like photographic depth of field, motion blur, light dispersion, and accurate global illumination. A Node Locked version of the Maxwell Render Suite is $775 USD, and a floating license with 10 render nodes is $1,395 USD. For more information check out maxwellrender.com
