In June 2020, the planetarium community from around the world will converge on Edmonton, Alberta, Canada for the 2020 International Planetarium Society conference!

We are looking forward to hosting the world at this wonderful event. June is a beautiful time of year in Alberta, and we will combine all the leading edge content you expect from IPS with warm Edmonton hospitality. And we will celebrate! 2020 is the 60th anniversary of the opening of Canada’s first public planetarium, the Queen Elizabeth Planetarium. It sits beside TELUS World of Science – Edmonton, the host science centre, and is currently being renovated as a historical site.
