A fulldome immersive short-film where visitors are guided by the CHEOPS space observatory itself, while it talks about the history of exoplanet detection – planets which orbit other stars – and also Portugal’s involvement in this field, through the Instituto de Astrofísica e Ciências do Espaço (IA).
The show explains how the two main exoplanet detection methods work and the main characteristics of the exoplanets known to date.
